DRIFTSTL MEDIA CREDENTIAL APPLICATION

DriftSTL is dedicated to providing members of the media with the best service and information necessary for optimal coverage of our events. DriftSTL has established a new policy in order to allow all media an equal opportunity to obtain DriftSTL media credentials.

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

All persons receiving credentials must complete the form below discharging DriftSTL in addition to Gateway Motorsports Park from any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained while attending a DriftSTL event on the grounds of Gateway Motorsports Park. 

Media credentials/photo vests will be limited to a total of FIVE per event and will be issued to only those individuals who complete the form below. Recognized news/wire services, motorsports publications, national and local television/radio news stations and internet sites that regularly cover motorsports will be given first priority. Remaining credentials will be provided based on a lottery drawing, this allows for all applicants to receive an equal opportunity to obtain credentials.

DriftSTL reserves the right to make all decisions regarding who will be granted credentials and the number of credentials available/issued per event. DriftSTL also reserves the right to revoke the credential and photo vest of any individual at any time.

Photographers are reminded that pre-race photographers meetings are mandatory and failure to appear will result in revocation of credentials or non-issuance of a photo vest at the discretion of DriftSTL. Failure to adhere to working policies and regulations detailed at meetings may result in loss of credentials and or a revocation of rights. 

All credential vest will be handed out during the mandatory driver/media meeting. Failure to attend this meeting will result in the loss of credentials and or a revocation of rights. (You will not be allowed access to the track) There are no exceptions. 

Anyone on track without proper credentials will be removed and will result in the loss of credentials and/or a revocation of rights for the remainder of the 2014 season. 

DRESS CODE: 

While the dress code is casual, we recommend proper attire in the paddock and garage areas. We suggest you avoid wearing bagging clothing, skirts, dresses and open-toed shoes. No open-toed shoes will be allowed on track. 

2014 DRIFTSTL CREDENTIAL AGREEMENT (PHOTO/VIDEO/FILM)

As a condition of the issuance of a media vest, I agree to the following regulations:

• I will wear the media vest properly, as my outermost garment.

• I will not give the vest to any other person to wear; media vests are non-transferable.

• I will stand in a safe position at all times while shooting (photographs/film/video).

• I will promptly obey the direction of all track officials.

• I understand that motorsports is a dangerous activity.

• I have read and agree with the DriftSTL media guidelines.

I understand that if I do not adhere to the above regulations, my media credential will be revoked and I will be subject to loss of media privileges at future DriftSTL events.
